The Area Nine Cable Council (ANCC) is a state mandated governmental body made up of appointed volunteer representatives in the 10 municipalities. We serve as a citizen advisory group representing our community's interests to the area's cable television provider and the State of Connecticut's Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC). Our mission is to advocate the best possible service for cable television customers and to promote the utilization of program services through Public, Education and Government Access (PEG).

Presently there is one cable TV franchise serving the area, Cablevision of Connecticut.

We welcome comments from cable TV subscribers regarding your service and any ideas on how the cable TV provider may better serve the customers and the community. Although there is no government regulation of most cable TV programming and rates, ANCC will forward any comments we receive from subscribers to the cable TV provider.
